How to use PicklePlay

A practical guide for players, club operators, staff, coaches, competition organizers, and platform administrators.

Start here

PicklePlay connects the public player experience with club operations. Players can discover places to play and join activities. Authorized operators use the same club records for courts, bookings, memberships, payments, staff access, competition, and public listings.

Player guide

  1. Create your player profile

Register with your real name, email, city, skill level, and password. If you already have an account, sign in instead.

    Create player profile
  2. Browse clubs and courts

Use Clubs to compare published club records. Use Court Calendar when you want to check a specific day and time.

    Browse clubs Court Calendar
  3. Reserve a court

Choose an available court, date, start time, and end time. The saved booking uses the club's current pricing and booking rules where configured.

    View courts
  4. Find or post a game

Game Finder shows real player-posted sessions. Signed-in players can also publish a session and define the club, schedule, format, play style, and skill range.

    Open Game Finder
  5. Join Open Play

Open Play is for club-hosted community sessions. Join while the session is open and capacity is available.

    View Open Play
  6. Use Pasalo when a booking changes

Eligible reservations can be offered for transfer. Other players can claim available Pasalo slots based on the current transfer rules.

    Open Pasalo
  7. Connect and keep track

Use Community, Groups, Inbox, notification settings, and Match History to organize regular play and review confirmed activity.

Club owner or manager guide

Club management tools appear only after your account has operator access to a club. The exact pages you can use are controlled by your assigned club role.

  1. Open Club Business

Use the club business workspace as your operational starting point for membership, payments, pricing, reporting, and related business records.

Club staff guide

One staff account can be assigned a reusable club role. The role determines which areas can be viewed or managed, including bookings, payments, memberships, reports, communications, competitions, coaching, check-in, and staff administration.

If a menu item is missing

That normally means your account is not assigned the permission for that area. Ask the club manager or authorized administrator to review your role instead of sharing another person's account.

Roles & Permissions

Coach and academy guide

Public users can browse available coaches and academy programs. Authorized coaching or academy staff can manage the operational screens granted by their club role.

Management and check-in controls appear only to accounts with the required club access.

Competition organizer guide

Use Competitions for published tournaments, leagues, ladders, registration, results, and supported event workflows. Organizer controls are permission-protected.

  1. Publish the competition record

Set the event details and visibility from the authorized management screen.

  2. Manage registration and participants

Keep participant status current before event day.

  3. Run check-in and record results

Use the tournament or competition tools assigned to your account so results and standings stay connected to the event record.

Access and troubleshooting

I signed in but cannot see Club or Platform menus.
Your login worked, but your account may not have the role or permission for those areas. Player accounts do not become administrators by entering an admin URL.
I opened a protected page while signed out.
PicklePlay sends you to Sign In first. After successful login, it returns you to the requested page only if your account is authorized for it.
I receive Access denied.
You are signed in, but the requested action is outside your assigned role. Ask the appropriate club or platform administrator to review access.
My club information or availability looks wrong.
Club operators should verify the underlying club, court, booking, pricing, and activity records. Public pages read from those operational records.
